About the Rolex Yacht-Master

The Yacht-Master is Rolex's dress-oriented nautical watch: a bidirectional rotating bezel for timing a start sequence, without the extreme water resistance or utilitarian finish of the Submariner. It's sold across a wider size range than most Rolex lines — 29mm, 37mm, and 40mm — and in a wider range of materials, including two-tone Rolesor, solid Everose or yellow gold, and platinum, on either a metal Oyster bracelet or the rubber-and-metal Oysterflex. Commonly searched references include the 16622, 116655, and the current 126622 and 126655. Rolex has also fitted the Yacht-Master to a mother-of-pearl or dark-dial dress configuration on some references, aimed more at the marina than the racecourse, which is part of why the line reads more casual-luxury than sport-tool despite its nautical branding.
