Quick Answer
What is November’s birthstone?
November’s birthstone is citrine. Warm golden citrine — November's birthstone — symbolizes joy, abundance, and warmth. Hand-set into rings, pendants, and earrings at our Snellville atelier.
About Citrine — the November Birthstone
Citrine is the yellow-to-amber variety of quartz — November’s traditional birthstone — graded by saturation from pale lemon to deep Madeira (orangey-brown). Most prized are the saturated golden-yellow and orange-yellow stones. Citrine sits at 7 on the Mohs scale, durable for daily wear in rings, pendants, and earrings.
ATL Luxury Jewelers stocks citrine across halo pendants, stud and drop earrings, statement and cocktail rings, and bracelets set in 14K and 18K gold. Most citrine on the market is heat-treated amethyst from Brazil — a stable, fully disclosed treatment that produces the bulk of golden-yellow material. Naturally yellow citrine exists but is far rarer.
Citrine reads richest in yellow gold — same color family, amplified depth — or in rose gold for a warm sunset effect. Topaz is November’s modern alternate birthstone, available in blue, yellow, and the rare imperial varieties; we stock both.
Why buy citrine from ATL Luxury Jewelers?
For over 15 years, ATL Luxury Jewelers has sourced natural and heat-treated citrine at our Snellville, GA showroom. We select for clean transparency, saturated golden color, and large face-up size — citrine is one of the few stones that can be cut large without exorbitant price jumps.
Every citrine piece includes lifetime cleaning, prong-tightening, and rhodium-plating (for white gold) at no charge — a policy we’ve held since 2009.
