A block letter nameplate uses capital letters, each one on its own. They are thick and even. Block is the strongest of the three.

A nameplate necklace is the name cut as one flat shape. A name pendant hangs the name inside a frame. The frame can be a disc, a bar, or a heart.

A monogram necklace joins two or three letters into one mark. A letter necklace is a single letter, alone or framed.
