Permanent Necklaces in Atlanta
A permanent necklace is a fine chain sized on your neck and closed with a tiny weld, so there is no clasp to fasten or lose. A forever necklace is fitted in our Snellville showroom and still comes off with one snip whenever you need it to.

Choose your permanent necklace chain
Each style below is a fine chain that we weld closed on you. You pick the metal at the counter and we settle the length together.

Sterling Silver
A bright white metal that stacks easily with other chains. Over time it can darken, and a soft polishing cloth brings the shine back.
14K Gold-Filled
A thick layer of 14K gold bonded over a base metal. It has the warm look of gold, and it is not solid gold all the way through.
10K Gold
Solid gold through and through, in a slightly paler yellow than 14K. Its higher share of alloy metals makes it firmer than 14K.
14K Gold
Solid gold through and through, in a richer yellow than 10K. It is the classic gold for a chain you plan to wear every day.
Not sure which to choose? We will put them side by side on your wrist.

Choosing the length
A welded necklace has no clasp, so it cannot come off at the end of the day to be swapped for another size. That is why we choose the length on you. We stand with you at the mirror and hold the chain against your collarbone until it sits where you want it. A shorter chain rests at the base of the neck and a longer one falls toward the neckline of the tops you wear most.
The necklace length guide shows how each length sits on the body. A forever necklace is worn all the time, so it is worth trying two lengths side by side before we close the weld. Length and metal are both part of the quote at the counter, and the guide on how much is permanent jewelry explains why we quote there.

Layering a forever necklace
A welded chain is fine and light, so it layers well with the necklaces you already own. Wear it close to the neck and let a longer pendant chain hang below it. Two chains of different lengths hang apart from each other, while two chains of the same length tend to twist together.
Because the chain stays on, you put your other necklaces on over it and take them off again without touching it. The welded chain can still come off whenever you need it to. One snip of the jump ring frees it, and the guide on how to remove permanent jewelry explains how, and how it goes back on afterward. Ask us to show you a pair of lengths in the mirror and you can see the layering before you decide.
