Birthstone Pendants — Configurations by Child Count
The most-requested Mother’s Day commission. Layout depends on child count:
- 1–2 stones — bezel-set on a delicate bar pendant. Most popular new-mom configuration. $400–$900.
- 3 stones — horizontal row pendant. Reads balanced, mom-classic. $700–$1,500.
- 4–5 stones — cluster or arranged around a center diamond. $1,500–$3,000.
- 6+ stones — charm necklace with one charm per child (can grow). Avoid trying to fit 6+ stones on a single pendant — reads cluttered.
Stone choice: Both natural and lab-grown work. Lab-grown saves 40–60% on the same stone type — meaningful when you need 4+ stones.
Avoid mixing months alphabetically — arrange in child age order. The piece reads as a family timeline, not a color chart.

Name Necklaces & Family Monograms
Personal without the gemstone commitment. Three formats:
- Children’s names in script — one name per pendant or stacked on a single chain. Best at 20–25mm wide per name.
- Family monogram — interlocked initials (mom + kids). 2–3 letters work; 4+ reads cluttered.
- Mother’s own name — her name in script. Always works; never out of style.
Font choice: Cursive script for traditional/romantic moms; clean block for modern moms; bubble letters for younger moms (under 35).
Two-name limit: combined character count under 11. “Ava & Eli” works; “Alexandria & Benjamin” reads as a metal ribbon, not a pendant.
