Permanent anklets in Atlanta start with a chain
Three fine styles to start with. Choose one at the counter and we will help you pair it with a metal.

Sterling Silver
A bright white metal that stacks easily with other chains. Over time it can darken, and a soft polishing cloth brings the shine back.
14K Gold-Filled
A thick layer of 14K gold bonded over a base metal. It has the warm look of gold, and it is not solid gold all the way through.
10K Gold
Solid gold through and through, in a slightly paler yellow than 14K. Its higher share of alloy metals makes it firmer than 14K.
14K Gold
Solid gold through and through, in a richer yellow than 10K. It is the classic gold for a chain you plan to wear every day.
Not sure which to choose? We will put them side by side on your wrist.

Fitting an anklet that stays put
We size a permanent anklet on you, not by guesswork. Sit or stand at the counter and we hold the chain just above the ankle bone, where the ankle narrows and the chain has a natural place to rest. Sitting there, it stays clear of the shoe line and lies flat instead of sliding toward the heel.
We also leave a little slack. Your ankle moves with every step, and it swells in summer heat and after a long day on your feet. A chain cut too snug feels fine in the showroom and tight by August. A little extra length lets it move freely and settle back into place.
Tell us how you wear your socks and shoes and we fit around it. Once you approve the length, the chain is closed with a tiny weld on a jump ring held away from your skin. The appointment takes minutes per piece.

Anklets and everyday life
An anklet lives lower than any other piece of jewelry. It meets socks, shoe edges, sand and pool decks, so it takes more knocks than a wrist bracelet does. That shapes which metal suits you.
10K Gold and 14K Gold are solid gold through and through, and 10K is the firmer of the two, so it is a sensible pick for an ankle that takes knocks. Sterling Silver darkens over time and polishes back with a soft cloth. 14K Gold-Filled is a thick layer of gold bonded over a base metal. It has the look of gold, and the gold layer is what takes the friction.
A fine chain can be worn in water. Chlorine, salt and soap are what wear it over time, and Sterling Silver reacts first. Rinse it after the pool or the beach and wipe it dry after a workout. For the full picture, read how long does permanent jewelry last.
