Rose Gold Jewelry
Rose gold jewelry (also called pink gold or red gold) is yellow gold alloyed with copper to produce its signature warm pink-blush color — the more copper in the alloy, the deeper the pink. It reads romantic, vintage, and modern at the same time. The color emerged in 19th-century Russia (originally “Russian gold”), peaked again in 1920s Art Deco, and has held steady mainstream demand since the 2010s revival.
Counterintuitively, lower karat means more pink — less gold leaves more room for copper:
- 14K rose gold — our most-stocked karat: the deepest, most saturated pink (58.3% gold, balance copper and silver), plus the best balance of durability and cost.
- 18K rose gold — (75% gold) a paler, softer pink, closer to peach, because there’s less copper to drive the color.
- 10K rose gold — the deepest pink and most affordable.
- Custom karat — we can source any karat on request.
Rose gold doesn’t require plating — the pink color is in the alloy itself, not a surface coating — so it never fades:
- Warm-toned gemstones — pairs especially well with morganite, pink sapphire, ruby, peach garnet, citrine.
- Neutral palettes — sits beautifully with pearls, diamonds, smoky quartz.
- Mixed-metal styling — harmonizes with yellow gold (warm-tone family); creates striking contrast against white gold or platinum.
