About Lab-Grown Diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds are chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds — same carbon crystal structure, same hardness (10 on Mohs), same fire and brilliance. They're produced in controlled environments using either HPHT (high pressure, high temperature) or CVD (chemical vapor deposition) over several weeks. The visible difference is price: lab-grown diamonds typically cost 30–70% less than mined diamonds of equivalent grade, allowing buyers to step up significantly in size, color, or clarity at the same budget. Every lab-grown diamond at ATL Luxury Jewelers is laser-inscribed and certified by IGI or GCAL.
About 10K White Gold
10K white gold blends 41.7% pure gold with palladium, silver, and zinc, then plates the surface with rhodium for a brilliant cool-white finish. The higher alloy content makes it the most affordable and hardest-wearing white gold available — ideal for daily-wear bands. The rhodium plating wears down over 12–24 months of constant wear and needs replating to restore the bright white; we include this service free for life on every 10K white gold piece purchased from our Atlanta location.
About Band Rings
A band ring is a simple ring of metal (sometimes with diamond or gemstone accents) without an elevated center stone — distinguished from rings with a defined 'head' setting. Band rings can be plain polished, milgrain-edged, diamond-set, or engraved, and range from delicate stacking bands (1mm) to wide statement bands (8mm+). They're equally popular as fashion rings, wedding bands, and stackable additions.
