MB&F — Maximilian Büsser & Friends — builds what it calls "horological machines": small-batch, sculptural, often mechanically theatrical watches that read closer to kinetic art than to a traditional dress or sport watch. It's an independent brand with tiny annual production, which means our own MB&F inventory is genuinely limited — typically a single piece in rotation, sourced when one becomes available through our trade network rather than held in depth.
Because MB&F pieces are unusual and produced in such small numbers, condition and documentation matter more than usual — we disclose grade (mint, excellent, good, or fair), box, papers, and any service history plainly on the listing. If nothing is available when you check, call (704) 684-7530; independent-brand sourcing takes longer than a mainstream reference, but we do track requests.
Servicing an MB&F isn't as simple as walking into any watchmaker — these are complex, low-production mechanisms, and factory-trained service is limited. We ask sellers about service history and inspect what we can before listing a piece, and we tell you plainly what we do and don't know rather than guess at a mechanism this specialized.
Not sure where to start? Our luxury watch brands guide covers how MB&F compares to the rest of our inventory, and our guide to buying a pre-owned luxury watch walks through condition, papers, and pricing before you commit to anything. Every MB&F watch listed here is ordered online, then brought into our Snellville showroom and inspected before it's handed to you — it isn't sitting in a case waiting for a walk-in.
